Finding out if we’re alone in the Universe is definitely one of the big questions that a lot of scientists would love to know the answer to!

      Hey Tasnim,

We know very little about the sea so all my developments in underwater robotics can help to get our robots deeper and discover more stuff. They are not only used for oil and gas, they can also be used for installing new renewable sources of energy, or harvesting important minerals from the ocean floor. Who know what we’ll discover next down there, but the underwater robots will no doubt play an important part in that.

As probly the least qualified ATM I don’t really research

But I hope to start a bsc ( hons ) or beng degree soon and start my journey into the research world part of degrees

But in the future I’d like to think I’d be researching new technologies and ways to improve the world and machines around me, better ways to make things and interact with the world around us

My motivation is to help people and facilitate the difficulties they face at work. Especially in manufacturing there are a lot of tasks where heavy parts have to be lifted and shifted around. The aim of a PhD as a university degree is to provide new knowledge to science This can be done by taking current results and tweak them a little bit or you could come up with something completely new. So, I hope that my research will somehow help people and science. 🙂
