      Oooh, tough one!
I’ve never been one to really set myself goals- I like to take life as it comes and see where I end up. I try to be quite flexible with my plans as you never know what’s going to come up, what opportunities will arise, or how you’ll feel about what I want to do and why in the future- your motivations and interests might change and evolve and the things you think look appealing now might not fit with your lifestyle by the time you get there. I just take the best option available at any given time and see where that takes me!

In 5 years or less I will be an engineering manger

10 years I hope to be a group engineering manager / head of engineering

15 years plus I am aiming for an engineering director position

      I’m aiming high

In that I’m aiming to be a chartered engineer and manager 😉

Career wise, I would have liked to finish my PhD within the next 3 years, and then have a managerial position in 10-15 years. I don’t plan ahead that far, though, as new opportunities come up or circumstances might change.
