Those must be some extra tasty pancakes if they’re Deeelicious!

I work in a small, crack team of people who come up with inventive solutions to complex problems. Everyone has different skill sets and knowledge so I’ll work with different people on different projects depending on the requirements, but not necessarily everyone at once or on the same project. It’s good to have variety 😉

Yeah I do. I work on just one project – the rover project, though some of my colleagues work on 3 or 4 different projects at a time depending on their role.
I have a team of people that I work with, which varies in size depending on our workload at the time, so has been anywhere between 5 and 20 since I’ve been working on the mission. That’s just for the structure of the rover though, which is the bit that I do. At Airbus there are over 150 people all working full time on the rover – doing different bits like the software, the power systems, the project management, the finance, managing all of our subcontractors and buying all the stuff in that we need to make it.

I’m assigned to a team called Resource Efficiency, where we look, for example, into making manufacturing more staff and energy efficient. We are a team of 5, but currently I work more often with other teams like the Virtual Engineering and Circular Value Chains team than I do with mine. That depends on the projects and tasks we have to do.

I really like working across teams (although I really like my team!) as you get to
know what the other teams are doing and the people you work with are not always the same (sorry team, I really like working with you, though!).
