Yes, I think I will always be an engineer from now on, no matter what I do next 🙂

I definitely plan on my career staying in engineering. but even if I wasn’t working as an engineer, I’ll always be an engineer in terms of what I like doing and how I think about things- I like making new things, and I think about problems logically and solve them with my creations. Even if that’s just making gadgets and things in my spare time, I couldn’t stop being an engineer.

I think that I will, yes. My role will most likely change, I am aiming to have a managerial position at some point in my career (which I also never thought I might consider 2 years ago!) – but in the engineering sector.

For sure, I imagine myself always to be engineering based. Like Melanie has mentioned, it might be slightly further from the “coal face” where the real work happens but the skills you learn from your time as an engineer sets you up for whatever you take on next.
